Posted on September 3rd, 2009

We here at Newcastle Airport Parking have found that passengers in the North East travelling from Newcastle Airport will have a new daily flight to Norway this October. The flight will go from Newcastle Airport to Bergen which is actually Newcastle’s twin town. The flight will begin on October 5th this year.

The service will be operated by Eastern Airways and is the latest in this operator’s growing routes. Eastern Airways also offer daily flights to Stavanger.

Chris Holliday who is CEO at Eastern Airways has said “This convenient, non-stop service is great news for north-east travellers and is in direct response to demand from the business community.” adding that the new flights were a vital link.

Chris Sanders, head of airline relations at Newcastle International Airport commented that the new link would drive business and tourism and was delighted that the new flights were being introduced.
