Weather causing problems at Newcastle Airport

Posted on January 6th, 2010

Snow is causing disruptions to flights at Newcastle Airport. The airport has been closed this morning to clear snow from the runway. It is unsure yet whether flights will be able to depart and land. We would advise anyone travelling from Newcastle Airport to check with their airline as to what the current situation is and if the flights are OK leave plenty of time for getting to the airport on time. Similarly if you are travelling to the airport to pick up people on incoming flights it is worth checking to see if the flight is arriving and is on time.

If you are stuck at Newcastle Airport and need accomodation why not check out our Newcastle Airport Hotels.
