Will Dougherty has been appointed as new Operations Director at Newcastle International Airport

Will Dougherty has been appointed as new Operations Director at Newcastle International Airport. He joins fellow senior staff Dave Laws, Simon Fisher and Kenneth Guldberg and previously worked at BAA as directory of operations for Aberdeen and Southampton Airports.

He will have responsibility for all aspects of airport operations including airside and landside, projects, maintenance, security, fire service and air traffic control.

Will said on his new role “I am delighted to take up this exciting and challenging role. The airport is critically important to the North East region and one of my key objectives will be to make Newcastle International the best UK regional airport in terms of service delivery and staff performance. I am driven by a commitment to exceed our customers’ expectations, empower our staff teams and finding ways to make the operational side of our business work more efficiently.”

This is great news for the airport and will expand it’s presence in the UK airport market. We here at Newcastle Airport Parking think it’s a grear appointment for Newcastle Internationl Airport.
